Before registering, read the centre's conditions, the Exam Regulations and the Implementation Provisions of the level.
Register with the centre
Depending on the centre: online (goethe.de or the centre's site), by form (post, e-mail) or in person. The centre sets the deadline, place and date.
Pay the fee
Fees are set locally; if not paid on time, you cannot sit the exam.
Get the timetable
The exact exam time is sent to you in writing about 5 days before.
On exam day
Show an official photo ID (the centre says which ones it accepts). Minors need their legal guardian's consent to register.
