The capital has centres that hold TCF Canada sessions: they are listed below, with their status in our data. Sessions fill up fast as Canadian programme deadlines approach: ask early about the schedule, the price and the documents required, directly with the centre.

The steps, in order

  1. Check the level your project requires (for example CLB 7 for the Federal Skilled Worker Program).
  2. Take a free placement test to know your starting point.
  3. Choose a session date that leaves you time to practise.
  4. Register with the centre and keep your confirmation.
  5. Practise in exam conditions until the day.

Tips for candidates in Yaoundé

  • On exam day, leave early: traffic can be heavy at rush hour.
  • Students and recent graduates: use the breaks between terms for an intensive pace.
  • English-speaking candidates: the Academy has an English interface; the exam itself stays in French.
  • Practise speaking out loud, even alone: it is often the section that keeps you from your target level.
